Wildfire

“I was never insane except upon occasions when my heart was touched.”

Edgar Allen Poe

Your bonfire soul
Beckons to mine
Molten eyes
Red lips, glistening
Hot and salty wet with
Wildfire grace and torrid sin
Tenderness and passion
The lick of your flames
Sets my tinder heart ablaze
Such an exquisite burn
Against my frigid flesh
Fill me with your fire
I’m so hungry for your heat
Consume me
Use me as fuel
I’d rather have seared scars with you
Than this smooth cold skin alone
