Dream Sweetly

She was the kind of girl who said, “dream sweetly” instead of “sweet dreams”.  Both might mean the same, but somehow the way she chose to arrange her words filled my chest with butterflies.  It was like those rare moments when you see a full moon during the day, or when the sun shines brightly through the clouds during a downpour. Moments that defy the rules just enough to feel a little bit magical… and that was her.  She had this breathtaking ability to take the mundane and make it feel enchanted.  “Dream sweetly” is a tiny little charming thing, but I suppose it’s always a collection of tiny little charms that one ultimately falls in love with.
